Seasonal Production & Fulfillment Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Holmes, NY

About Laurel & Ash Farm

Laurel & Ash Farm is a family-owned maple farm in the Hudson Valley creating small-batch maple products with an emphasis on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and exceptional quality. Every bottle is hand-finished and every order is carefully packed by our small team. We believe the details matter—from the products we make to the experience our customers receive.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing things well, and appreciates beautiful, thoughtfully made products.

The Role

As our Seasonal Production & Fulfillment Assistant, you’ll play an important role in preparing and shipping our products during our busiest season. You’ll help package maple syrup and vinegars, assemble gift sets, fulfill online and wholesale orders, maintain inventory, and ensure every package that leaves our farm reflects the quality and care behind our brand.

This is an in-person position based at our production studio in Holmes, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Package and finish maple syrup bottles and pantry products

  • Apply labels, wax seals, and other finishing details

  • Assemble gift boxes and seasonal product collections

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer and wholesale orders

  • Perform quality control throughout production and fulfillment

  • Assist with inventory organization and stock counts

  • Help maintain a clean, organized production space

  • Occasionally represent Laurel & Ash Farm at local markets and events

  • Able to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality

  • Fast, efficient, and thoughtful in their work

  • Appreciative of craftsmanship, design, and beautiful presentation

  • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative environment

  • Eager to learn—we’re happy to train the right person

Previous production or fulfillment experience is not required, though experience with ShipStation is a plus.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation to our farm in Holmes, NY

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to sit and stand throughout the day

  • Comfortable performing hands-on production work

Position Details

  • Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week (up to 40 hours available)

  • Flexible weekday (Mon-Fri) schedule between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

  • Seasonal position beginning September 2026, through January 2027

  • Opportunity for the role to extend beyond the season for the right person
